We welcome you to contact your local Mathnasium learning centre with any questions you may have about statistics tutoring. Here are some of the more common ones we get:
Mathnasium is a growing network of maths-only learning centres with over 40 locations across the UK, including Wokingham, St Albans and Milton Keynes in the South East, Manchester in the North West, and Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland.
You can use the "Find a Centre" feature through our website to find one near you. If there is not yet a centre in your area, Mathnasium@home, our online programme, is available until we provide a centre near you.
Private tutors may focus on a particular topic, piece of schoolwork or upcoming exam. Mathnasium takes a different approach.
We start by identifying each student’s individual strengths and knowledge gaps, then create a tailored learning plan designed around what they need to learn.
Our specially trained instructors use the Mathnasium Method™ to help students develop a deeper understanding of maths, including statistics and data-handling concepts appropriate to their level. Whether they need to catch up, keep up or get ahead, students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Finding and addressing what seemed not so important gaps in my children's abilities has allowed both of them to power on at high speed because they haven't just learnt how to answer a question but learnt concepts in an extensible way, without leaving holes in their understanding.
